Recipe: Taco Casserole


Ingredients:
  1. 1/4 lb Ground Beef
  2. Envelope Taco Seasoning Mix
  3. 1 Can Spanish Type Tomato Sauce(or Marinera Sauce)
  4. 1 Can Plain Tomato Sauce
  5. 1 1/2 Cups Water
  6. 2 - 3 1/2 Cups Baked Tortilla Corn Chips
  7. 3/4 - 1 Cup Grated Cheddar Cheese


Directions:


Preheat oven to 400° Saute meat in skillet. Add Taco Seasoning Mix, Spanish Sauce, and Water. Mix well, Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer uncovered 15 minutes. Add other can of sauce and Baked Tortilla Chips, mix careful not to break chips. Pour into 2" deep by 8" baking dish, add grated cheese. Bake in 400° oven for 10- 15 minutes. (mumm--real good)

Recipe: Texas Hash


Ingredients:
  1. 1lb. Ground Beef
  2. 1/2 Green Pepper
  3. 1 Onion (Small)
  4. 1/2 tsp Salt (to Taste)
  5. 1 Tsp Pepper
  6. 2 Tbs Chili Powder
  7. 1 can Tomato Soup
  8. 1 Cup Minute Rice
  9. 1/3 Cup Shredded Cheese
  10. 1/2 Jar(3oz) Stuffed Green Olives

Directions:

Preheat oven to 325°
Chop Green Pepper and Onion, fry first 6 ingredients together until meat is done. Combine with rest of ingredients in large casserole and stir all together. Place in 325° oven for 30-40 minutes. (mummm----------good)

Recipe: Pasta and Ham Bake


Ingredients:
  1. 1lb. Ground Beef
  2. 1/2 Green Pepper
  3. 1 Onion (Small)
  4. 1/2 tsp Salt (to Taste)
  5. 1 Tsp Pepper
  6. 2 Tbs Chili Powder
  7. 1 can Tomato Soup
  8. 1 Cup Minute Rice
  9. 1/3 Cup Shredded Cheese
  10. 1/2 Jar(3oz) Stuffed Green Olives

Directions:

Preheat oven to 325°
Chop Green Pepper and Onion, fry first 6 ingredients together until meat is done. Combine with rest of ingredients in large casserole and stir all together. Place in 325° oven for 30-40 minutes. (mummm----------good)

Recipe: Tuna Rice Royal


Ingredients:
  1. 2 Cans (6 - 7 ozs each) Tuna drained
  2. 3 cups Uncle Bens cooked rice
  3. 1 cup sliced celery
  4. 1/2 cup chopped onions
  5. 3 tbsp diced pimentos
  6. 1 can(10 3/4 ozs) Cream celery soup
  7. 1/3 cup milk
  8. 1 cup Grated cheddar cheese
  9. 1 to 1 1/2 cups Topping*

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375°, Bake 20 minutes
*Chow mein noodles, crisp rice cereal or croutons. Combine tuna, rice, celery, onions, and pimentos. Blend: Soup, milk and cheese; heat. Stir into tuna mixture- season to taste. Turn into a greased shallow 2 quart casserole. Put on topping.
Bake at 375 for 20 minutes or untill hot and bubbly.
Makes 6 servings.

Recipe: Sweet/Sour Chicken


Ingredients:
  1. 1 lb. Chicken Cut into 1" cubes
  2. 1/2 Green Pepper
  3. 1 Yellow Onion (Medium) Sliced into apple wedges and taken apart
  4. 1/2 tsp Salt (to Taste)
  5. 1 Tsp Pepper
  6. 1 Jar Sweet and Sour Sauce
  7. 1 Cup Uncle Bens White Rice Cooked

Directions:


Chop Green Pepper and Onion, then set aside. Fry cubed chicken in a bit of oil until cooked and drain thoroughly. Combine with rest of ingredients in pan, stir all together. Place in 325° oven for 30-40 minutes. (mummm----------good)

Recipe: Kielbasa/Spaghetti


Ingredients:
  1. 1 lb. Kielbasa Sausage skinned and sliced
  2. 1/2 Green Pepper
  3. 1 Onion (Medium) Chopped or diced
  4. 1/2 tsp Salt (to Taste)
  5. 1 Tsp Pepper (to Taste)
  6. Italian Seasoning to taste
  7. Water
  8. 1 Whole Bay Leaf crunched
  9. 1 Jar of Favorite Spaghetti Sauce (Ragu, Merinera Sauce, etc.)
  10. 1 can Tomato Sauce
  11. Angle Hair Pasta Cooked (Enough for 4-6 people)
  12. 1 dash of your favorite wine to taste

Directions:


Pre Chop or dice Green Pepper and Onion, cook in a pan first 3 ingredients until meat is done, then drain excess fat. Combine the salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, spaghetti sauce, tomato sauce and wine into pan and stir all together, let simmer in pan for 30 minutes, stir several times so as not to stick to pan. Add small amounts of water to keep from sticking. (mummm----------good)
