Recipe: Old-Fashioned Filled CookiesIngredients:

Directions:Preheat oven to 375°. Lightly Grease cookie sheets. Follow directions for cookie filling above on the tab. Sift flour w/baking Powder and salt; set aside. In a large bowl w/mixer beat butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla 'till light and fluffy. Form dough into a ball. Wrap with waxed paper or foil; refrigerate serval hours or overnight. Divide dough into four parts, refrigerate 'till use. On lightly floured board, roll dough, one part at a time, 1/8th" thick. W/floured, 2 1/2 " round or scalloped cookie cutter, cut out cookies. reroll trimmings and cut. Place half the cookies, 2" apart on cookie sheets. Spread 1 tsp filling over each cookie; cover w/another cookie(having dampened edge of bottom cookie w/water.) With fork, seal edges and cut slits in top cookie. Keep in covered container. |

Directions:In a small sauce pan, combine: Raisins, sugar with 1/2 cup water. Cook, stirring over med. heat. Stir in lemon peel, lemon juice, and walnuts.(Cool completely). |

Directions:Preheat oven to 325°Chop Green Pepper and Onion, fry first 6 ingredients together until meat is done. Combine with rest of ingredients in large casserole and stir all together. Place in 325° oven for 30-40 minutes. (mummm----------good) |

Recipe: Pork Chop Casserole
|
Directions:Preheat oven 400° Serves 4 Sprinkle chops with salt, pepper, & paprika. In large skillet over med-high heat, brown pork chops in hot oil. Remove chops, drain. (see variation) In same skillet (after you have removed chops)over low heat,stirring constantly heat soup, sour cream and parsley. Do not boil. Place frozen potatoes in 2 quart casserole top with layer of green beans, pour on hot cream sauce and top withchops. Cover and bake 45 (60) min Variation: I fry chops, butter casserole, place drained chops in casserole, cover with potatoes then cover with cream sauce. Cover and bake. I serve Green Beans separately because my family doesn't like things mixed. This method seems to favor the chops better. |

Recipe: Cold Slaw Salad

Directions:Shred cabbage and 1 carrot, dice onion. Combine cabbage, carrots, and dressing to taste. Cut cucumber, slice tomato in wedges. Rinse and separate celantra. Use a platter and place slaw in center, garnish with wedges, cucumber and celantra. Curl a long flat piece of carrot. Serve. |
